I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specialize in working with couples, families, individuals and EMDR therapy. My passion is to help couples strengthen their marriages and increase effective communication. I enjoy working with families to resolve conflicts and bring peace into the home. I have extensive experience with individuals, specifically adolescent and adult women.
I graduated from Bethel University (2006) with a Masters degree in Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy. After graduating, I gained a wealth of experience in the field while working with multi-problem families, couples, and individuals. I have served as a therapist for 15+ years, and supervisor for 2 of those years. In August, 2018 I founded Wellspring Counseling Services, LLC in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I believe that individuals and families are resilient and have a lot of internal strengths to accomplish their goals. I am passionate about the work I do and I hope we can work together toward hope and healing in your life.

I am an EMDR therapist, which is a heavily researched approach that is effective for helping clients when they feel stuck in a thought process or feeling. I frequently use Ego State techniques, that are particularly helpful for healing trauma and bringing wholeness to an individual. I understand the individual as a part of a larger system rather than in isolation, and my therapy methods are aimed at helping each person relate to their environment and meet their personal goals.
My experience and training is working with couples, families, and individuals with conflict and communication barriers who want to increase connection and closeness in their family lives. I also work with individuals with dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, domestic violence, trauma, PTSD, sexual trauma, and a variety of other concerns that keep a person from living their most full life.
I accept private pay payments, and offer a sliding scale. I am also paneled with the following insurance companies.
If I am not in network with your insurance carrier there is always the option to file an out of network claim to your insurance company.
